Moe’s Southwest Grill will host their final picnic for 2014 this Thursday in the 3rd Street Courtyard! The menu will include popular items from the taco bar, which contains soft flour tortillas, choice of protein, rice, beans, mixed onions and peppers, shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo and chips and salsa. All for $5! Don’t want a tortilla? Make it a plate of nachos for the same price!!
Entertainment will be provided by Singer/songwriter, Gabrielle Tatara from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Gabrielle Tatara, can be found in local coffee houses charming patrons with her pure, honest sound. One can’t help being captivated listening to Gabrielle. She radiates her unique personality that is fascinatingly upbeat and optimistic converging with her contemplative, sensitive, and intuitive nature. Her music is eclectic including haunting ballads, quirky melodies and compelling acoustic rock. Gabrielle has performed at coffee houses such as Firefly, Higher Grounds, Mocha Lounge, and Starbucks. She’s also performed at festivals and concert venues like Rock the Plaza and Come 2 Go. She is currently finishing her undergraduate degree in psychology at Butler University, but still can be found playing at different venues like performances at the Bean and open mic nights.
Table chalk will be provided! Please feel free to leave your comments and feedback on the tables before you go!! If you feel so inclined, you may even draw in the Lazy River. And, don’t forget to visit our vendors under the canopy! Angie Martz BeautiControl VIP will feature a free hand washing station, while selling scientifically advanced skin care and premium quality cosmetics by BeautiControl. Several vendors from the Seeds of Change Marketplace will also be set-up in the Courtyard during the picnic for your perusal and enjoyment. Mary Kay Independent Consultant Dawn Jones will also be on the scene!

Whatever the reason, Picnics in the Courtyard have been growing in popularity, and Main Street Marion is happy to provide this opportunity to showcase a downtown venue, highlight local eateries, and attract a diverse audience to the downtown core.
