Marion Civic Theatre in celebration of Main Street Marion’s 25th Anniversary presents Betting on Death, a mystery dinner theatre and casino party at the Marion Elks Country Club.  Betting on Death will commence on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Marion Elks Country Club.  Mystery Dinner showtime is 6:30 p.m. and costs $25.  The Casino Party will kick off at 8:00 p.m. for ticket cost of $20 and includes one drink ticket.  Blackjack and Texas Hold’em table games available during the Casino Party for real cash!  Get a ticket to both the dinner and the party for $40!!

Betting on Death takes place in Las Vegas! The main character, well, everyone simply knew him as “Harold,” one of many street people who wandered through Las Vegas. No one would have ever imagined what would be found when he met an untimely end, hit by a speeding sports car in front of the Labachio Hotel & Casino while a shocked entourage of pseudo-entrepreneurs looked on in disbelief. As police investigated, they discovered that looks can be deceiving and that “Harold” was more than a mere street adventurer.

Tickets available at Marion Civic Theatre, 509 S. Washington St. or by phone 765-668-7800.

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to show time. If you’d like, dress up in your Vegas attire. If you want to rent costumes from MCT, call Carla Tucker at 664-4653; she will schedule a time to meet you and pick out something. OR, just come and enjoy the mystery, food, gaming, and good time.
