MAIN STREET MARION PRESENTS A SOUL-FULL PICNIC

Beatnik’s Café and Chef James Rudolph will host a soul-full picnic in the 3rd Street Courtyard tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The menu will include your choice of deliciously fried fish and jambalaya plus a beverage for $8, or spaghetti in a mushroom marinara sauce, tasty meatballs, garlic toast, and a beverage for just $7.  A $3 dessert menu of key lime pie, stupid cake, and chocolate almond cherry cake will also be available.  Beatnik’s Café is known for its awesome selection of brews and entertainment.  On Thursday, September 4th, patrons will get a taste of Chef James Rudolph’s unique blend of ingredients and flavors.  You can also order up some of Chef Rudolph’s goodness every Friday and Saturday night from the Beatnik’s kitchen.  Please show your support for not only Main Street Marion’s Thursday Picnic event, but also to one of our downtown music hall – Beatnik’s Cafe.

Entertainment will be provided by Marion natives CNR.  CNR is a 2 piece that writes and records as a 6 piece full band, all performances by Marion natives, Ryan Fox and Craig Herres. They perform live mainly as a 2 piece acoustic with electronic drum loops. Table chalk will be provided! Please feel free to leave your comments and feedback on the tables before you go!!  If you feel so inclined, you may even draw in the Lazy River.  And, don’t forget to visit our vendors under the canopy!  Vendors from the Seeds of Change Marketplace will also be set-up in the Courtyard during the picnic for your perusal and enjoyment.
