TCB Games is thrilled to introduce the biggest pop culture event to ever hit the City of Marion!  GIANT Comic Con will take place at Hotel Marion on Halloween weekend, October 31st at 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., November 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and November 2nd from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. This event will introduce our kids and families to the power of imagination and creativity.  TCB Games’ primary goal is to promote reading, creativity, and exploration in kids’ lives.

Entry to Convention is $5.00 per day, children 3 and under will be permitted free entry.  The activities for the weekend include:

  • Marion’s 2nd Annual Zombie Walk will commence on Friday, October 31st at 6:00 p.m. at Hotel Marion.  The Marion Zombie Walk admission is free with donation of pet food or cash donation to Grant County Humane Society.
  • Halloween Night Trunk-Or-Treat & Costume Party will be safe and fun for all!  The Trunk-Or-Treat is for kids up to 12 years of age, and the Halloween & Costume Party for ages 13 and up.  We will be having three different categories for the costume contest – Professional Adult, Amateur Adult, & Children (16 under).  The admission for the Halloween & Costume Party is $10.00 and will follow the Zombie Walk on Friday, October 31st.  TCB Games has donated $500 in product for prizes + more from community businesses.
  • Join us for a night of Vintage Comic Book Night with Wine & Cheese from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 31st!  There will be a Silent Auction of Rare Comic Books for the Friends of the Marion Public Library and the Marion Boys and Girls Club.  Vintage comic book collection valued at over $2000!!!!!  The admission is $50 and is for ages 21 and up only.
  • We will also introduce Humans vs. Zombies on Saturday, November 2nd!  COSTUMES STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!!  Admission for the Humans vs. Zombies is $10.00.
  • Professional Cosplay people will be on the scene Saturday, November 2nd and will be running panels for the how to and whys of cosplay.  Other panelist include Todd Nightenhelser, owner of TCB Games, on the value of games in education.  More information available at
  • Throughout Saturday and Sunday, we invite you to discover your game by checking out the board games for beginners demos, share your love of comics with your kids, sign-up for Pokemon open play, the Yu-Gi-Oh tournament, or Magic tournament, explore our artist alley, vendor rows, and author booths.
