Spring Downtown Clean-Up Scheduled for April 18th

Main Street Marion is excited to be orchestrating a spring downtown clean-up day, “CleanUP&OUT,” on Saturday, April 18th, 2015.

In one day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., volunteers will complete needed service projects in our downtown district and leave a mark on the city. Main Street Marion conducts two clean-up days per year in efforts to maintain, revitalize and beautify downtown, while helping downtown businesses complete overwhelming tasks.

Main Street Marion is accepting applications from downtown businesses needing projects done in or around their space. Business owners just need to fill out an application.  Click here to download the application.

Main Street Marion is also in need of volunteers for the clean-up. Volunteers age 14 and above will be allowed to participate and are required to fill out a waiver.  Click here to download the volunteer waiver.

Either form may also be picked up and completed at the new Main Street Marion office at 422 E. Fourth St, downtown Marion, or by emailing operations@mainstreetmarion.com.

The deadline to return forms in order to participate in any capacity is Friday, April 10th, 2015.  Join the Spring Downtown Clean-up on Facebook by clicking here.  Co-Chairs Layla Price and Eric Marshall are looking for volunteers!  Become a member of the design committee by emailing operations@mainstreetmarion.com.

Main Street Marion is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit downtown organization that inspires, unifies and champions the Downtown Marion Experience. Our local Main Street office is your direct connection to the social and business hub of downtown Marion, and we are 100% funded by your donations!

On behalf of Main Street Marion, we thank you for helping us make a positive difference in our community!
